Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) Disinfectant Swab is a medical swab stick which is used to sanitise the skin. it is made of medical grade 100PPI open-cell polyurethane foam and white polypropylene handle. It is with formulation of 2% Chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to meet the strict clinical requirements of FDA. 

Product Features:

◔ Tip made of medical-grade foam :soft, inert and hypoallergenic,release fewer particles than gauze

◔ Various size applicators allow for the antisepsis of the surface of skin with coverage area : 7’’x7’’,  4’’x5’’,2.5’’x2.5’’

◔ Eliminate the need for forceps, gauze swabs, bowls and bottled solutions.

◔ Impregnated with 5ml of 2% W/V Chlorhexidine Gluconate and 70% V/V Isopropyl Alcohol:

  - Fast-acting antiseptic, with a residual activity for over 24 hours

  - Antiseptic not affected by contact with organic matter, unlike Iodophor solutio

  - Antiseptic effective against Gram positive bacteria, Gram negative bacteria, fungi and viruses

  - Solution that dried quickly
