Velvet Dual Lift threads feature a unique double needle to help achieve a natural and immediate lifting effect in the desired area.  The threads are made of a clear, absorbable material of polyglycolic acid, which dissolve and help stimulate your skin’s own collagen production.  These threads are injected through a single puncture, which significantly reduces the damage of the tissues to elevate the sagging tissue and lift problem areas.

*SMAS (Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System) is a two-layer structure consisting of a superficial fascia consisting of collagen and elastin fibers, as well as a layer of mimic muscles. These layers create a carcass supporting the skin. One the one side this structure is connected with a higher located soft tissues (skin and subcutaneous fat), and on the other side – by means of connective tissues and bands with the facial bones.

About the Procedure

The areas to be treated will be first numbed with a local anesthetic and then marked.  The double needles are injected into identified points, then separated and moved further to the necessary layer.  This helps to avoid damage of large vessels and nerves. 

When the threads are injected they are strongly fixated within the skin tissues ensuring a lifting effect.  The threads are not visible and not felt under the skin.  The procedure together with the anesthesia will take approximately 40 minutes to an hour.  One pack of threads is required to lift one area.

The rehabilitation process is short and complications are not common.  A full recovery takes 10-14 days.
