How to use MilkFill Body filler

‌Precautions: MilkFill Body filler should be injected into 1 patient only, and should not be dispensed and injected into more than 1 person. The disposable sterile medical device should not be reused.

‌‌General Instructions for Filler Injection Procedure At the beginning, it is important to examine the area in which to proceed with the treatment from the back and sides to determine the specific injection area. This must be done while the patient is standing, as lying down augments the natural gravity and shape. Before disinfecting, it is useful to mark the specific areas. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and lidocaine injection. Usually, for the purpose of volumizing, filler is injected into the upper gluteal region, which lifts up the gluteal area and the sub-gluteal crease. In case the lateral area lacks volume, the filler could be injected to enhance the dips. For this procedure specifically, it is often used the fanning injection technique. Experts recommend an injection of 30-40 cc of hyaluronic acid gel for each buttock and no more than 100cc per session, especially if it is the patient’s first time. After the treatment, the doctor should evaluate the product distribution and gently massage from bottom to top if necessary.

After care Disinfectant should be applied to the injected points after the procedure. In order to facilitate the products integration with the dermis, the area must be taped in a triangle shape and the patients are to keep it on for at least three days and avoid getting it wet. Immediately after the treatment, patients may experience slight swelling. Common Filler Injection Techniques 1. Bolus technique After passing the needle through the skin to a deeper structure, we inject the product with the needle remaining as still as possible. 2. Serial puncture It is usually performed very superficially in the intradermal depth. It involves multiple small boluses in a crease or static line. The amount of HA injected is minimal, typically 0.01 to 0.02 ml. 3. Linear threading In order to enter the skin, the needle is kept parallel to the surface. Backward withdrawal of the needle injects the product. This is called a retrograde linear thread. It is possible to inject the product before the needle in some cases. This can be useful because it can push blood vessels out of the way. In this scenario, we call it an anterograde linear thread, and you can see the product is injected ahead of the advancing needle. 4. Fanning This technique spreads the product over a wider area.After the needle has passed under the skin, the product is laid down in a linear thread as the needle is withdrawn. However, instead of removing the needle completely, it is necessary to change the angle of the needle and then place another linear thread of product back to the entrance. It is possible to repeat these threads in a radial pattern.

  5. Cross hatching In cross hatching technique, the procedure starts by injecting a series of linear threads in a parallel orientation. Then it is necessary to change the angle of the needle in 90 degrees from the original, then inject another series of linear threads, which are all perpendicular to the first row.

Injection Method for BREAST

1.Pre-operative Anesthesia:

Inject 50ml~100ml of swelling solution between the mammary gland and pectoralis  major muscle fascia (Swelling solution 3pcs Epinephrine Inj. + 20ml~30ml saline solution)

2.Injection level:

 Between the mammary gland and pectoralis major muscle fascia

3.Injection Method:

Wait for the swelling solution to spread for 10-20 minutes

After selecting the injection point, a 1.2~1.5mm needle is used to puncture the injection hole.

Use a 14G~18G blunt needle to penetrate, a 30°~45° angle, to the edge of the injection area, and then inject in a circular pattern, or use a fat grafting needle.

After each injection (10ml), massage the area well and inject the next one.

Precautions:

Prophylactic antibiotics are recommended for 3 days before the procedure.

Participants are advised not to shower for the first 3 days after treatment and to sleep face down.

Suspension of sports activities for at least 2 weeks and avoidance of sauna, steam room, tanning, and swimming for 3 weeks, other treatments include skin care treatments such as retinoids, chemical peels, and laser treatments for at least 2 weeks to avoid inflammation of the injection site are also prohibited.

Notes:

1. The amount of product used may vary depending on the size of the buttocks. If necessary, it can be repeated within 15 days.

2. Patients who have multiple hyaluronic acid breast augmentation injections will have a longer duration, generally two to three injections, and the duration can reach 18 months.

3. Consider additional injections in about 2 to 3 years

MilkFill Body filler is NOT recommended for the following groups:

l  Those with obesity

l  Those with excessive muscle and skin laxity

l  Those with local infection

l  Those with use of hip prosthesis

l  Those with allergy to HA or allergy to known indications for HA filling.
