Product Details

UV nail tip glue gel is a specialized adhesive that requires a UV or LED lamp to harden (cure), offering a much stronger and longer-lasting bond than traditional air-dry glues. Unlike liquid glues that can be messy, many UV gels come in solid or semi-solid formulas that are non-sticky to the touch and allow you to reposition the nail before curing.

Key Application Tips

To ensure a professional finish and avoid common issues like lifting or allergies, keep these facts in mind:

Use Clear Tips: UV light must be able to penetrate the press-on nail to reach the glue. For this reason, UV gel glues work best with clear or translucent tips. If you use solid-colored or opaque nails, the center of the glue may not cure properly.

Flash Cure First: When applying, hold the nail in place and use a "flash cure" (about 5-10 seconds) with a small handheld lamp to set the position. Once all nails are set, do a full 60-second cure in a larger lamp.

Prevent Bubbles: Apply the glue at a 45-degree angle starting from the cuticle and slowly pressing down toward the tip. This pushes air out and ensures a seamless bond.
