Limu, one of Brown Algae, has the highest amount of Fucoidan and lives in only limited areas such as Okinawa(Sea Farming) and Tonga. MS Global Bio extracts high purity of Fucoidan by patent technology(No.10-1385006: Extraction and Manufacturing method of Fucoidan using natural Limu in South Pacific). The extracted Fucoidan contains 12,400 ppm of Sulfate Ion for 50ml which is 20 times higher than Limu grown in Okinawa, and 40 times higher than domestic seaweed. CICA Fucoidan cream contains 5% of Fucoidan extracted with our patent technology.

☞ What is Fucoidan?

Fucoidan, a slippery substance, can be extracted only in brown algae such as Kelp, Seaweed, Limu, etc and it forms thin film on its skin to protect itself from sand, rough waves, and hot sunlight. As it mentioned, Fucoidan is a substance that prevents inflammation, helping to calm the skin and nourishing to the depths of the skin. In addition, Sulfate Ion, one of substance in Fucoidan, is a high hydrophilic so it delays drying on surface, indicating much higher moisturizing power than hyaluronic acid known as a cosmetics moisturizer.
